According to an embodiment of the present invention, a vehicle for providing a driver with a view of a blind spot in front of the vehicle comprises: a front-facing camera which captures an image of the front of the vehicle; a head-up display which projects an image on a windshield of the vehicle; an input unit for receiving a boundary line for setting a region on which the image is projected among regions of the windshield; and a control unit configured to determine a projection area on which the image is projected based on the input boundary line, determine a region of interest of the front image captured by the front-facing camera based on the determined projection area and the speed of the vehicle, and control the head-up display so that the determined region of interest can be displayed on the determined projection area.
차량 전방의 사각지대의 시야를 운전자에게 제공하기 위한 일 실시예에 따른 차량은, 차량의 전방을 촬영하는 전방 카메라, 상기 차량의 윈드쉴드에 영상을 투영시키는 헤드업 디스플레이, 상기 윈드쉴드의 영역 중 상기 영상이 투영되는 영역을 설정하기 위한 경계선을 입력 받는 입력부 및 상기 입력된 경계선에 기초하여 상기 영상이 투영되는 투영 영역을 결정하고, 상기 결정된 투영 영역 및 상기 차량의 속도에 기초하여 상기 전방 카메라로부터 촬영된 전방 영상의 관심 영역을 결정하고, 상기 결정된 투영 영역에 상기 결정된 관심 영역이 표시되도록 상기 헤드업 디스플레이를 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다.
