Disclosed is a method for calculating a BOR of LNG in a cargo hold. The method for calculating a BOR of LNG in the cargo hold including insulation members includes the following steps of: generating three-dimensional modeling of the cargo hold reflecting real design; inputting material properties for each temperature of elements modeling the cargo hold; calculating the deformation amount of the insulation members in accordance with an applying load for each position in the cargo hold; determining whether the calculated deformation amount of the insulation members converges to a specific value; calculating temperature distribution and the heat inflow amount in accordance with a thickness change of an insulation wall including the insulation members from the deformation amount of the insulation members; and calculating the BOR of the LNG in the cargo hold.
