The present invention is to provide a server capable of reducing time that a user of a vehicle spends on looking for a parking space by matching the vehicle searching for the parking space and a vehicle to be released and providing the vehicle searching for the parking space with the parking space and the vehicle to be released with rewards and to a method for controlling the same. The parking management server comprises: a communication unit for receiving search requests with respect to a parking space from a vehicle to be parked; and a control unit for searching for the parking space based on a parking planned position and a parking planned time of the vehicle to be parked and transmitting a question about whether the vehicle parked in the parking space leaves by controlling the communication unit.
주차 공간을 탐색하는 차량과 출차 예정인 차량을 매칭시켜, 주차 공간을 탐색하는 차량에게는 주차 공간을 제공하고 출차 예정인 차량에게는 보상을 제공함으로써 차량의 이용자가 주차 공간을 찾기 위해 소비하는 시간을 단축시켜줄 수 있는 서버 및 그 제어 방법을 제공한다. 일 예시에 따른 주차 관리 서버는, 주차 예정 차량으로부터 주차 공간에 대한 검색 요청을 수신하는 통신부; 및 상기 주차 예정 차량의 주차 예정 위치 및 주차 예정 시간에 기초하여 상기 주차 공간을 검색하고, 상기 통신부를 제어하여 상기 주차 공간에 주차된 주차 차량에 출차 여부 질문을 전송하는 제어부;를 포함한다.
