The present invention discloses an apparatus for controlling cluster parking and a method thereof. The apparatus comprises: an inter-vehicle communication unit transmitting and receiving a traveling trajectory between accompanied vehicles; an inter-server communication unit communicating with a parking lot infrastructure system to receive a parking space in a parking lot; a storage unit storing vehicle information of the accompanied vehicles for cluster parking; an autonomous driving unit automatically parking the vehicle according to the traveling trajectory; and a control unit generating a traveling trajectory by receiving the parking space through the inter-server communication unit when entering into a parking lot in a head parking mode, performing autonomous driving through the autonomous driving unit according to the traveling trajectory, and transmitting the traveling trajectory through the inter-vehicle communication unit to a following vehicle of the accompanied vehicles stored in the storage unit.
본 발명은 군집 주차 제어 장치 및 그 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 군집 주차 제어 장치는, 동행하는 차량들간 주행궤적을 송수신하기 위한 차량간 통신부; 주차장 내의 주차 가능공간을 제공받기 위해 주차장 인프라 시스템과 통신하기 위한 서버간 통신부; 군집 주차를 위한 동행 차량의 차량정보를 저장하는 저장부; 차량을 주차궤적에 따라 자동 주차하는 자율주행부; 및 선두주차 모드인 경우 주차장 진입시 서버간 통신부를 통해 주차 가능공간을 입력받아 주차궤적을 생성하고, 주차궤적에 따라 자율주행부를 통해 자동 주차를 수행하면서 차량간 통신부를 통해 주행궤적을 저장부에 저장된 동행 차량 중 후행차량에 전송하는 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
