The present invention relates to a wiper apparatus. In the wiper apparatus removing foreign substances on a wind shield by being rotated by a pivot of a vehicle, provided is the wiper apparatus where a combining part having a stepped part in a length direction is formed in order for an upper plane of a female piece and an upper plane of a female retainer to form an equal plane in a case the female piece connecting a wiper blade by being connected to one end of the female retainer is combined in correspondence to a combining hole formed on the female retainer. Also, a spring connected to a rivet at the female retainer is connected to a rivet at a female head, as a lock-back unit converting a rotation direction in accordance with elastic recovery force and lock-back maintaining force around a virtual neutral axis (CL) by giving the elastic recovery force to the female retainer combined to the female head rotatably by a rotary shaft. The wiper apparatus includes an elastic hook having a hooking ring so that total appearance including the spring is not exposed to the outside of a lower part of the female retainer. The wiper apparatus of the present invention has the effect of preventing flow of the female piece, and maintaining beautiful appearance, and reinforcing and improving external appearance exposure and external force weakness of a wiper arm, and reducing manufacturing costs and weight.
