Disclosed are a head-up display apparatus and a driving guide method using the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the head-up display apparatus comprises a data detection part, a display panel and a control unit. The data detection part detects data for guiding a carriageway deviation warning. The display panel displays a drive indicator projected onto a windshield glass. The control unit determines whether a curved section set on a desired route exists and calculates a first deviation index by selecting a first variable collection of the data when a vehicle reaches a boundary point where whether the vehicle approaches the set curved section can be determined. The control unit can control the display panel to display the guide indicator guiding the carriageway deviation warning when the first deviation index is a first critical index or more. According to the present invention, deviation from the carriageway or the collision of a vehicle on the curved section can be prevented.
헤드업 디스플레이 장치 및 이를 이용한 주행 안내 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 헤드업 디스플레이 장치는 차로 이탈 경고를 안내하기 위한 데이터를 검출하는 데이터 검출부; 윈드실드 글래스에 투영되는 주행 인디케이터를 표시하는 표시 패널; 그리고 희망 경로 상에 설정된 곡선 구간이 존재하는지 판단하고, 차량이 상기 설정된 곡선 구간으로 접근하는지 여부를 판단할 수 있는 경계 지점에 도달하면 상기 데이터 중 제1 변수 집합을 선택하여 제1 이탈 지수를 계산하는 제어 유닛;을 포함하되, 상기 제어 유닛은 상기 제1 이탈 지수가 제1 임계 지수 이상이면 차로 이탈 경고를 안내하는 안내 인디케이터를 표시하도록 상기 표시 패널을 제어할 수 있다.
