Disclosed are a re-liquefaction system and a method for a liquid cargo carrier. The re-liquefaction system for a vessel, which carries a liquid cargo, includes: a re-liquefaction line compressing, cooling, and re-liquefying boil-off gas, generated from a storage tank storing the liquid cargo, and then storing the gas in the storage tank; a compressor installed in the re-liquefaction line to compress the boil-off gas; a heat exchanger installed in the re-liquefaction line to cool the boil-off gas, compressed by the compressor, by exchanging heat between the compressed boil-off gas and boil-off gas which is generated by the storage tank and is to be injected into the compressor; and an economizer installed in a downstream part of the heat exchanger in the re-liquefaction line, and cooling the compressed boil-off gas by exchanging heat between the boil-off gas and the liquid cargo stored in the storage tank as fuel to be supplied to an engine of the vessel.
액체화물 운반선의 재액화 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 액체화물 운반선의 재액화 시스템은, 액체화물을 운반하는 선박의 재액화 시스템에 있어서, 상기 액체화물이 저장된 저장탱크에서 발생하는 증발가스(Boil-Off Gas)를 압축하여 냉각하고 재액화하여 상기 저장탱크에 저장하는 재액화라인; 상기 재액화라인에 마련되어 상기 증발가스를 압축하는 컴프레서; 상기 재액화라인에 마련되어 상기 컴프레서에서 압축된 증발가스를 상기 저장탱크에서 발생하여 상기 컴프레서로 도입될 증발가스와 열교환으로 냉각하는 열교환기; 및 상기 재액화라인에서 상기 열교환기의 하류에 마련되며, 압축된 상기 증발가스를 상기 선박의 엔진으로 공급될 연료(fuel)로서 상기 저장탱크에 저장된 액체화물과 열교환시켜 냉각하는 이코노마이저를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
