The present invention relates to a suspension fluid and a method for producing the same, wherein the suspension fluid is produced by dispersing fumed silica particles in a solvent including water and one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of ethylene glycol and propylene glycol. A phase change suspension fluid according to the present invention is a shear thickening fluid exhibiting a regular Newtonian flow at a low shear speed or in a low frequency region but exhibiting a non-Newtonian flow which refers to a suspension fluid having a shape like a solid by having increased viscosity at a high shear speed or in a high frequency region. A phase change is reversibly possible according to the vibration of a vehicle, so an advantage of a hydro bush is ensured in a low frequency region and an advantage of a solid bush is ensured in a high frequency region.

    본 발명은 건식 실리카(fumed silica) 입자를, 에틸렌 글리콜(ethylene glycol) 및 프로필렌 글리콜(propylene glycol)로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 1종 이상의 화합물과 물을 포함하는 용매에 분산시켜 제조한 현탁 유체 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 상변이 현탁 유체는 저속의 전단속도나 저주파수 영역에서는 일정한 뉴토니안(newtonian) 거동을 보이지만, 고속의 전단속도나 고주파수 영역에서는 점도가 상승하여 고체와 같은 형태의 현탁액을 나타내는 비-뉴토니안(non-newtonian) 거동을 나타내는 전단농화 유체로서, 차량의 진동에 따라 상변이가 가역적으로 가능하여, 저주파 영역에서는 하이드로 부시의 장점이 고주파 영역에는 솔리드 부시의 장점이 양립된 효과를 제공할 수 있다.
