The present invention relates to a floating structure and a control method thereof. According to an aspect of the present invention, the present invention, in a floating structure operated in a sailing mode and a jackup mode, comprises: a main frame which can float on water; a leg for vertically penetrating the main frame; a leg driving unit for letting the main frame and the leg make a relative movement vertically; a spudcan is provided on the bottom end of the leg; a first sensing unit provided in the spudcan to measure the inclined degree of the bottom surface of the spudcan with respect to the horizon; and a second sensing unit is provided in the leg driving unit to measure the inclined degree of the leg in a vertical status with respect to the main frame. In case of a free loading for converting into the jackup mode, the present invention can provide a floating structure which can compare the inclined degree of the bottom surface of the spudcan with respect to the horizon and the inclined degree of the leg in a vertical status with respect to the main frame, and control the operation of the leg driving unit according to the result of the comparison.
본 발명은 부유식 구조물 및 그 제어 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 측면에 따르면, 항해 모드와 잭업 모드로 운용되는 부유식 구조물에 있어서, 물에 부유할 수 있는 본체; 상기 본체를 상하 방향으로 관통하는 레그; 상기 본체와 상기 레그를 상하 방향으로 상대 운동시키는 레그 구동부; 상기 레그의 하단에 제공되는 스퍼드캔; 상기 스퍼드캔에 제공되며, 상기 스퍼드캔의 저면이 수평방향에 대해 기울어진 정도를 측정하는 제1 센싱부; 및 상기 레그 구동부에 제공되며, 상기 레그가 상기 본체에 대해 수직인 상태에서 기울어진 정도를 측정하는 제2 센싱부를 포함하되, 상기 잭업 모드로 전환하기 위한 프리로딩 시, 상기 스퍼드캔의 저면이 수평방향에 대해 기울어진 정도와 상기 레그가 상기 본체에 대해 수직인 상태에서 기울어진 정도를 비교하고, 상기 비교 결과에 따라 상기 레그 구동부의 동작을 제어하는 부유식 구조물을 제공할 수 있다.
