The present invention relates to a switch device for an automobile which has a reduced size by installing a touch-type switch device in a dial switch device. According to the present invention, the switch apparatus for an automobile comprises: a main body whose lower side is opened; a cover body inserted into the opened lower side of the main body to be coupled to the main body; a dial switch device which is installed above the main body, and has an annular wheel knob to be rotated around a virtual rotational axis arranged in a vertical direction; a touch-type switch device which is installed above the main body, and has an electrostatic touchpad touched by a user and pressed in a vertical direction; a main PCB which is coupled above the cover body to be arranged in the main body, and receives switch signals from the dial switch device and the touch-type switch device; and a case body coupled to the main body, and provided with a hole formed on an upper side thereof to expose the wheel knob and the electrostatic touchpad. The electrostatic touchpad is arranged in the wheel knob.
