According to the present invention, disclosed is a structure of a second insulation panel disposed in a membrane LNG cargo tank. The second insulation panel of the present invention comprises: a plywood box; a plurality of vertical reinforcing members vertically disposed in the plywood box; a plurality of horizontal reinforcing members horizontally disposed between the vertical reinforcing members in the plywood box; and an insulation material filled in a gap between the plywood box and the vertical reinforcing member or the horizontal reinforcing member. Therefore, the second insulation panel can have increased structural stiffness and improved insulation performance.

본 발명은 멤브레인형 액화천연가스 화물창에 구비되는 2차단열패널의 구조가 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 멤브레인형 액화천연가스 화물창에 구비되는 2차단열패널은 플라이우드 박스(plywood box); 플라이우드 박스 내부에 수직으로 배치되는 복수 개의 수직보강부재; 플라이우드 박스 내부의 복수 개의 수직보강부재 사이에 수평으로 배치되는 복수 개의 수평보강부재; 플라이우드 박스와 수직보강부재 및 수평보강부재 사이의 빈 공간에 채워지는 단열재;를 포함하여 2차단열패널의 구조적 강도를 높이고, 단열성능을 개선한다.
