The present invention relates to a ship cargo hold, and in particular, is configured to prevent fire and explosion hazards in advance that may occur when a ship cargo hold storing crude oil is repaired and maintained, and to reduce necessary work, such as maintenance and repair of cargo holds. To achieve the purpose above, the present invention relates to a cargo hold for storing crude oil in a plurality of spaces formed by longitudinal bulkheads and transverse bulkheads crossing each other, wherein the cargo hold includes a void space which is located at one or more of the corners formed in such a manner that the longitudinal bulkheads and the transverse bulkheads cross each other, and which forms an empty space thereinside in such a manner that one side end and the other side end are sealed and fixed, respectively, to the longitudinal bulkhead and the transverse bulkhead.
본 발명은 선박 화물창에 관한 것으로서, 특히 원유를 저장하는 선박 화물창을 정비 및 수리할 경우 발생할 수 있는 화재 및 폭발 등의 위험을 미연에 방지하며, 또한 화물창의 정비 및 수리에 따른 필수적인 작업 등을 감소시킬 수 있도록 구성한 것이다. 상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은 교차하는 종격벽과 횡격벽에 의해 형성된 복수의 공간들에 원유를 저장하는 화물창에 있어서, 종격벽과 횡격벽이 교차함으로써 형성된 코너들 중 하나 이상의 코너에 위치하며 일측단과 타측단은 종격벽과 횡격벽에 각각 밀폐 고정됨으로써 안쪽에 빈 공간을 형성하는 보이드 스페이스를 포함하는 것을 기술적 특징으로 한다.
