The present invention relates to a gaze tracking apparatus having a movable light, and a method for detecting a light reflection point thereof. The gaze tracking apparatus comprises: a camera installed to face a user in a vehicle so as to acquire an image of the user; a light for irradiating light to the user; a moving structure structurally combined with the light, and moving the light in a predetermined movement orbit; and an image processing unit for detecting a light reflection point from the image by predicting the light reflection point due to the light based on prior information of the moving structure.

    본 발명은 이동하는 조명을 구비한 시선추적장치 및 그의 조명반사점 검출방법에 관한 것으로, 시선추적장치는 차량 내 사용자를 향하도록 설치되어 상기 사용자의 영상을 획득하는 카메라와, 상기 사용자를 향해 빛을 조사하는 조명과, 상기 조명과 구조적으로 결합되며 정해진 이동궤도로 상기 조명을 이동시키는 이동구조체와, 상기 이동구조체의 사전정보에 근거하여 상기 조명에 의한 조명반사점을 예측하여 상기 영상에서 상기 조명반사점을 검출하는 영상 처리부를 포함한다.
