레이저 방식 과속 단속 장치가 개시된다. 이 장치는 과속 촬영을 위한 촬영부, 촬영부의 촬영 초점을 겨냥한 광폭 빔을 발사하여 속도를 측정하는 속도 측정부, 및 촬영부의 영상으로부터 차량번호를 인식하고, 속도 측정부의 측정 속도에 근거하여 과속 여부를 판단하며, 과속일 경우 그 속도와 인식된 차량번호를 포함한 단속 정보를 보고하는 제어부를 포함한다. 이에 의해 검지력이 향상되어 과속 단속이 보장된다.
Disclosed is a laser-type overspeed enforcement device. The device includes: a recording unit for recording overspeed; a speed measuring unit for radiating wide beams targeting at the focusing point of the recording unit to measure the speed; and a control unit for recognizing the license number from the image taken by the recording unit, determining if a vehicle is running over a speed limit based on the measured speed by the speed measuring unit, and reports the enforcement data including the speed and recognized license number in the case of overspeed. By doing so, detection accuracy and reliability of overspeed enforcement can be improved.
