To provide a wave observation notification system that can respond to a variety of operators (such as marine operators) and secure the safety of work with respect to wave conditions.SOLUTION: A wave observation notification system 1 of the present invention comprises: floating observation equipment 2 installed on water surface and observing a predetermined data; and calculating equipment 3 receiving the predetermined data observed by the floating observation equipment and calculating a wave situation, the floating observation equipment 2 includes an observation unit 21 observing a water level data at every predetermined time interval and transmission unit 22 transmitting the water level data, the calculating equipment 3 includes: a receiving unit 31 receiving the water level data; a calculating unit 32 calculating, based on the water level data, a wave height which is the height of the wave at the installation location of the floating observation equipment as a wave situation; and a notification unit 33 notifying at least one of the wave status and warnings based on the wave height, and the calculating unit 32 calculates the wave height based on the difference between the lowest position and the highest position of the water level data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
