PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flight device that detects an obstacle and a distance to the obstacle not only above the yaw axis but also in any horizontal direction orthogonal to the yaw axis.SOLUTION: A flight device 10 comprises a base body 11, thrusters 12, an attitude detection part 23, a control part 20, and a plurality of sonar modules 13. The thrusters 12 are provided on the base body 11 and generate propulsion power. The attitude detection part 23 detects the attitude of the base body 11. The control part 20 controls the thrusters 12 on the basis of the attitude of the base body 11 detected by the attitude detection part 23. The sonar modules 13 are located, with the center of the base body 11 in the plan view as a reference, on a circle or on a hemisphere face. The sonar module 13 has an irradiation part 41 emitting an ultrasonic wave and a reception part 42 receiving the ultrasonic wave, and detects a distance from the base body 11 to an obstacle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
