To provide a remote control device which can easily and precisely perform remote control for equipment.SOLUTION: A remote control device 1, which is a remote control device for performing remote control for a drone 100 as object equipment, comprises: an operation wand 30 as an operation body which is gripped by a hand of an operator; an infrared camera 20 as a movement detection part which detects movement of the operation wand 30; motion capture processing S6 as a motion capture part which generates three-dimensional time sequence positional information concerning the operation wand 30 based on a detection result by the infrared camera 20; command generation processing S7 as a command generating part which generates a command for operating the drone 100 based on said three-dimensional time sequence positional information generated in said motion capture processing S6; and a wireless communication part 16 as a command transmission part which transmits the commend generated in said command generation processing S7 to the drone 100 by electric waves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
