To provide a straddle type vehicle that is able to easily photograph a front view from a vehicle body by using a general-purpose photographing device.SOLUTION: In a straddle type vehicle (1, 40, 60) with a leg shield (8, 50, 69) disposed at a position near a front part of a vehicle body and with a fixing device (30) for fixing a photographing device (S), the leg shield (8, 50, 69) is provided with a leg shield opening (7, 57, 75) through which a forward view from the vehicle body can be seen. The leg shield opening (7, 57, 75) is disposed at a position that is closer to either the right or left side with respect to a center in a vehicle width direction and that overlaps a lens (L) of the photographing device (S) fixed to the fixing device (30), in a front view of the vehicle body. The leg shield opening (7, 57, 75) is provided at a position above a front wheel (WF) and below a headlight (5, 44, 82) in the front view of the vehicle body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】汎用の撮影装置を用いて車体の前方を容易に撮影することができる鞍乗型車両を提供する。【解決手段】車体の前部寄りの位置に配設されるレッグシールド（８，５０，６９）と、撮影装置（Ｓ）を固定する固定装置（３０）とを有する鞍乗型車両（１，４０，６０）において、レッグシールド（８，５０，６９）に、車体の前方を見通せるレッグシールド開口部（７，５７，７５）を設ける。レッグシールド開口部（７，５７，７５）は、車体正面視において、車幅方向中央に対して左右いずれか寄りで、かつ固定装置（３０）に固定した撮影装置（Ｓ）のレンズ（Ｌ）と重なる位置に配設する。レッグシールド開口部（７，５７，７５）を、車体正面視で、前輪（ＷＦ）の上方かつヘッドライト（５，４４，８２）の下方の位置に設ける。【選択図】図２
