To provide novel mining and mud lifting techniques for rare earth mud, abundantly distributed on the deep sea bottom of the Pacific Ocean, ensuring the ideal form of deep sea bottom resource development that is to return the residual mud to its original location on the deep sea bottom in harmony with the natural environment, and extracting only the valuable resources.SOLUTION: A resource mining vessel includes a pressure control tank which is a vacuum pressure/pressure device with a resource mining bucket, a wet refining bucket, and a wet refining compaction tank with a floating mud receiving tank in a top/bottom separated structure arranged in parallel in vessel central space. Vacuum pressure sucks in the rare earth mud into the bucket and vacuum consolidation and pressurizing are functions to push outside the bucket, the bottoms of the two buckets being open. The floating mud receiving tank exchanges rare earth mud between the resource mining bucket and the wet refining bucket by moving in parallel on the sea surface in the vessel central space. The functions of the pressure control tank and the wet refining bucket enable the ideal mining/refining/residual mud processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】太平洋の深海底には、レアアース泥が膨大に分布している。最大の課題はレアアース泥の採掘・揚泥技術にある。究極の海底資源開発は、残泥を自然環境に対処して元の深海底に戻し、持ち帰るのは資源物のみとする。【解決手段】本発明の資源採掘船は、船央空間に資源採掘バケットと湿式製錬バケット，浮体式受泥槽が上下の分離構造となっている湿式製錬圧密槽が並列に配置され、２種類のバケットは底面開口で、真空圧・加圧装置である圧力増減タンクを装備する。真空圧はレアアース泥のバケット内への吸引及び真空圧密、加圧はバケット外への押出す機能である。浮体式受泥槽は船央空間内の海面を水平移動することで、資源採掘バケットと湿式製錬圧密槽間のレアアース泥のやり取りをする。この圧力増減タンク及び湿式製錬圧密槽の機能が、究極の資源泥の採掘・製錬・残泥処理を可能とした。【選択図】図７
