To provide a surface member for seat that can reduce wrinkles of a sewing part between a multi-layered structure fabric and a seat body and also secure cushion properties of the multi-layered structure fabric.SOLUTION: A surface member for seat comprises multi-layered structure fabric 20 comprising a surface layer 41, a back layer 42, and connecting yarn 43 for connecting the surface layer 41 and back layer 42 together, and a seat body 21 connected to the multi-layered structure fabric 20, and is provided with a sewing part 50 for sewing the multi-layered structure fabric 20 and seat body 21, at the sewing part 50, the multi-layered structure fabric 20 is compressed to a non-sewing part 51 of the multi-layered structure fabric 20 in a plate thickness direction, and sewn to the seat body 21 in the plate thickness direction with a gap S1 provided between the surface layer 41 and back layer 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】座席用表面部材において、多層構造編物とシート体との縫製部の皺を低減するとともに、多層構造編物のクッション性を確保できるようにする。【解決手段】表層４１、裏層４２、及び表層４１と裏層４２とを連結する連結糸４３を備える多層構造編物２０と、多層構造編物２０に結合されるシート体２１とを備える座席用表面部材において、多層構造編物２０とシート体２１とを縫製する縫製部５０が設けられ、縫製部５０では、多層構造編物２０は、多層構造編物２０の非縫製部５１に対し板厚方向に圧縮されるとともに、板厚方向において、表層４１と裏層４２との間に隙間Ｓ１が設けられた状態でシート体２１に縫製されている。【選択図】図５
