To provide an operation supporting device which allows a user to return a vehicle to the point where the user got off from the vehicle.SOLUTION: The operation supporting device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a communication unit which can communicate with an in-vehicle device built in an automatically controlled vehicle and the portable terminal of the user of the vehicle; and a return determination unit for receiving a return request for moving the vehicle to the point where the user got off from the vehicle through the communication unit from the portable terminal, and sending a return instruction for moving the vehicle to the getting-off point to the in-vehicle device through the communication unit if the return time required for the vehicle to move the vehicle to the getting-off point is less than the return effective time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
