To provide a self-driving system that uses map information consistent with a management aspect of actual roads.SOLUTION: A self-driving system has: a storage unit that stores map information representing a lane by means of a link and a point of contact between the lanes themselves by means of a node, in which there is the lane having a plurality of parallel links set with respect to one lane; an other vehicle information acquisition unit that acquires other vehicle information indicative of an other vehicle state in an advancement direction of an own vehicle; a control unit that, on the basis of route information and location information, controls self-driving of the own vehicle to a destination while running on the set link in the map information; and a first determination unit that determines whether the own vehicle runs on the lane having the plurality of parallel links set with respect to the one lane or not, from the location information and the map information. When the own vehicle runs on the lane having the plurality of parallel links set with respect to the one lane, if it can be determined that a running route where the other vehicle runs coincides with a running route where the own vehicle runs, the control unit is configured to control the own vehicle so as to follow the other vehicle running forward the own vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
