PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably maintain a posture with a surface carrying out optical transmission in parallel with water level in a transmission device measuring water temperature and other environmental conditions by being injected and installed in a used nuclear fuel pool and optically transmitting the measured information to an outside camera.SOLUTION: Measuring and transmission functions are separated, a measuring unit is made a bottom reaching sinking body, a transmission unit is made a floating body floating in water, and both are connected by a flexible cable state connection unit. A force is applied to the transmission unit to have it float up along with the connection unit as well as having it moored to the measuring unit by the connection unit. Thus, even when the measuring unit reaches the bottom in a state with the measuring unit inclined, the transmission unit is capable of maintaining a posture with a top surface including an optical transmission surface being horizontal rather than the posture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】使用済み核燃料プールに投入・設置されて水温その他の環境条件を測定し、その測定情報を外部のカメラに光送信する送信装置にあって、光送信を行う面が水面と平行になる姿勢が安定して維持されるようにする。【解決手段】測定および送信の機能を分離し、測定ユニットを着底する沈降体、送信ユニットを水中に浮かぶ浮体とし、両者を可撓性ケーブル状の接続ユニットで接続する。送信ユニットには接続ユニットを伴って浮上させる力が作用するとともに、接続ユニットによって測定ユニットに繋留された状態となるようにする。これにより、測定ユニットが傾いた状態で着底しても、その姿勢によらず、送信ユニットは光送信面を含んだ上面を水平にした姿勢を保つことができる。【選択図】図４
