PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to accurately detect an object, such as a parallax image from information with which the position in the horizontal direction and the position in the depth direction of the object are associated.SOLUTION: A creation part creates two-dimensional distribution information indicating two-dimensional frequency distribution with which the positions in the horizontal direction and the positions in the depth direction of objects and a frequency value are associated, and a detection part detects detection objects on the basis of the two-dimensional distribution information. A separation position specification part specifies a separation position on the basis of the amount of feature created by integrating the frequency value according to the positions in the depth direction. An object separation part separates the detection objects at the specified separation position. The information processing device thus can separate and detect the respective objects connected by a parallax image and detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8

    【課題】視差画像等の物体の横方向位置と奥行方向位置とが対応づけられた情報から物体を正確に検出可能とする。【解決手段】生成部が、物体の横方向位置及び奥行方向位置と頻度値が対応付けられた2次元的な頻度分布を示す2次元分布情報を生成する生成し、検出部が、2次元分布情報に基づいて検出対象物を検出する。分離位置特定部は、頻度値を奥行方向位置に応じて積算して生成した特徴量に基づいて、分離位置を特定する。物体分離部は、特定された分離位置で、検出対象物を分離する。これにより、視差画像等で結合されて検出される物体同士を、それぞれ分離して検出可能とすることができる。【選択図】図8
