PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start a voice guidance for a course change at appropriate timing as to any intersection and made to terminate at appropriate timing.SOLUTION: A guidance point position acquisition part 114 acquires a position of guidance point to serve as a reference for performing route guidance at an intersection in which a route change occurs on a searched route. A road width specifying part specifies a road width of the road intersecting a travelling direction in the intersection. A guidance start position specifying part 116 specifies a guidance start position with the guidance point acquired by the guidance point position acquisition part 114 as a reference by taking into an account the road width specified by the road width specifying part 115. When the current position of an own device acquired through a GPS part 108 arrives at the guidance start position specified by the guidance start position specifying part 116, a guidance processing part 117 performs guidance immediately before the course change with respect to the intersection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】どのような交差点についても、進路変更のための音声案内を適切なタイミングで開始させ、適切なタイミングで終了させることができるようにする。【解決手段】案内ポイント位置取得部１１４は、探索された経路上で進路変更が生じる交差点における経路案内を行うための基準となる案内ポイントの位置を取得する。道幅特定部は、当該交差点における進行方向に交差する道路の道幅を特定する。案内開始位置特定部１１６は、道幅特定部１１５で特定した道幅を考慮して、案内ポイント位置取得部１１４で取得した案内ポイントを基準にした案内開始位置を特定する。ＧＰＳ部１０８を通じて取得した自機の現在位置が、案内開始位置特定部１１６で特定した案内開始位置に到達した場合に、案内処理部１１７は、当該交差点についての進路変更直前の案内を行う。【選択図】図１
