PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device capable of suppressing variations in detection accuracy depending on the position of metallic foreign matter.SOLUTION: A power transmission device 3 includes: a power transmission coil 21 that transmits electric power in a non-contact manner to a power reception coil provided outside; and a plurality of detection coils 26, 27 provided around the power transmission coil 21. At a center of the detection coils 26, 27, at least one of a low permeability member having a magnetic permeability lower than that of air and a reflection member reflecting a magnetic flux passing through the detection coil is provided so as to suppress variations in detection precision depending on the position of metallic foreign matter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
