PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure determination device for a hybrid vehicle that can make a failure determination of an exhaust emission control device provided in an exhaust system of an engine by motoring the engine and can attain excellent acceleration performance in accordance with depression of an accelerator when the depression of the accelerator is performed by a driver during the motoring.SOLUTION: While fuel supply to an engine is stopped and motoring for driving the engine by using a motor generator is performed, failure of an Osensor is determined. During the motoring, when depression of the accelerator performed by a driver increases an accelerator opening θacc (Yes in S5), cancel time Tc is set in accordance with the increased accelerator opening θacc (S8,14,16). While the increased accelerator opening θacc is maintained, when the cancel time Tc passes (Yes in S18), the motoring is forcedly completed to resume power generation of the motor generator by driving the engine (S20), so as to attain intended acceleration corresponding to the depression of the accelerator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】エンジンをモータリングしてエンジンの排気系に設けられた排気浄化機器の故障判定を実施可能とした上で、このモータリング中に運転者のアクセル踏込みが行われた場合には、それに応じた良好な加速性を実現できるハイブリッド車の故障判定装置を提供する。【解決手段】エンジンへの燃料供給を停止してモータジェネレータによりエンジンを駆動するモータリングを行いつつO2センサの故障を判定する。モータリング中に運転者のアクセル踏込みによりアクセル開度θaccが増加すると(S5がYes)、増加後のアクセル開度θaccに応じてキャンセル時間Tcを設定し(S8,14,16)、アクセル開度θaccが増加したままキャンセル時間Tcが経過すると(S18がYes)、モータリングを強制終了してエンジンの駆動によるモータジェネレータの発電を再開し(S20)、アクセル踏込みに呼応した所望の加速を実現する。【選択図】図3
