The embodiment of the invention relates to a driving assistance method and device, a medium and a program product. The method includes presenting a request to a driver of the vehicle to perform a reactive action. The method also includes deactivating one or more driving assistance functions of the vehicle if a reactive action is not detected within a predetermined period after presenting the request.
