The invention provides a vehicle braking method and system, and the method comprises the steps: determining the actual variable quantity of the torque of each brake wheel according to the target braking torque corresponding to each brake wheel, the dynamic torque of each brake wheel at the last moment, and the maximum variable quantity of the torque change of each brake wheel, determining the dynamic torque of each brake wheel at the current moment based on the actual variable quantity of the torque of each brake wheel, and determining the current dynamic torque as a new dynamic torque at the previous moment in response to the fact that the dynamic torque of each brake wheel at the current moment is different from a target brake torque corresponding to each brake wheel, and determining a new current dynamic torque corresponding to each brake wheel according to the new dynamic torque at the previous moment, and continuously adjusting and updating the dynamic torque of each brake wheel at the current moment, so that each brake wheel synchronously reaches the corresponding target torque from the dynamic torque at the current moment. The problem that the brake wheels cannot synchronously reach the corresponding target torques is solved, and the stability of the vehicle in the braking process is guaranteed.
