The invention discloses a power assembly, a control method of the power assembly, a vehicle, equipment and a medium. The power assembly comprises a driving motor, the driving motor comprises a first set of stator windings and a second set of stator windings, the second set of stator windings can be selectively connected or short-circuited with the first set of stator windings, and when the first set of stator windings and the second set of stator windings are connected, the first set of stator windings and the second set of stator windings are connected. The output rotating speed of the driving motor is smaller than the output rotating speed of the second stator winding in short circuit; the transmission is connected with the driving motor; and the motor controller is connected with the driving motor and used for controlling the transmission to act according to the running state of the vehicle and controlling the second set of stator windings to be in short circuit or to be connected with the first set of stator windings. By the adoption of the power assembly, the cost and weight of the power assembly can be effectively reduced while the requirements of users are met, and the efficiency of the power assembly and the endurance mileage of the whole vehicle are improved.
