The invention relates to the technical field of road weighing, in particular to a quartz type dynamic road weighing system and method. A road module of the system comprises a ground induction coil, a quartz sensor and a snapshot gun camera. The cabinet module comprises a weighing instrument and an industrial personal computer; the ground induction coil is used for triggering a vehicle passing action and generating a vehicle passing electric signal, and the quartz sensor is used for weighing a vehicle passing through a weighing area and generating stress charge data; the snapshot gun camera is used for carrying out snapshot on the vehicle passing through the weighing area to obtain a snapshot photo; the weighing instrument is used for controlling the snapshot gun camera to work according to the vehicle passing electric signal transmitted by the ground induction coil, and performing multi-dimensional model calculation according to the collected charge data generated by the quartz sensor so as to obtain weighing data; and the industrial personal computer is used for matching the weighing data with a snapshot picture of the snapshot gun camera so as to form complete vehicle passing data. According to the scheme, high-speed and low-speed dynamic weighing can be completed, and the weighing precision is improved.
