The invention discloses a bus active discharging method, a charging system and a three-port vehicle-mounted charger, and belongs to the technical field of power electronics. The charging system comprises a transformer, a primary side conversion circuit, a secondary side conversion circuit and a bus capacitor, the secondary side conversion circuit comprises a synchronous rectification circuit and a step-down circuit, and the output end of the step-down circuit is electrically connected with the energy storage unit. The bus active discharge method comprises the following steps: determining a voltage threshold required to be reached when the discharge of a bus capacitor is finished and the actual voltage of the bus capacitor; when the voltage threshold value is smaller than the reference voltage and the actual voltage is smaller than or equal to the reference voltage, the switching tube of the rectification circuit and the primary side conversion circuit are controlled to be switched on and off, the conduction loss and the switching loss of the primary side conversion circuit and the conduction loss of the synchronous rectification circuit are utilized, the discharging time is short, no extra hardware circuit needs to be added, and the cost is reduced. The system cost is reduced, and the system power is improved.
