The embodiment of the invention discloses a vehicle control method and device, a storage medium and electronic equipment, and relates to the field of vehicle control. The method comprises the steps that a switching instruction for switching a vehicle into a four-wheel drive mode is received; in response to the switching instruction, determining a vehicle speed range to which the vehicle speed belongs and an electric quantity range to which the battery electric quantity belongs in a plurality of preset vehicle speed ranges and electric quantity ranges; according to the vehicle speed range to which the vehicle speed belongs and the electric quantity range to which the electric quantity of the battery belongs, a target working mode corresponding to the vehicle switched into the four-wheel-drive mode is determined, and the target working mode at least comprises one of pure electric working, series working, electric idling working and direct-drive working. By the adoption of the method and device, the switching process of the hybrid vehicle in different driving strategies can be optimized, the proper driving strategy is selected, and the dynamic property and safety of the vehicle are guaranteed.
