The invention discloses a control method of a marine diesel-electric hybrid power system, which is based on a double-propeller propulsion system consisting of a marine diesel-electric hybrid power main system and a marine diesel-electric hybrid power slave system. The diesel-electric hybrid power system for the ship is composed of a dual-fuel main propulsion diesel engine, a motor serving as a shaft generator, an energy storage power battery, a power coupling system and a transmission system for driving a propulsion propeller, and the method comprises the steps of ship working condition selection and system working mode selection. And the energy-saving, environment-friendly and comfortable performances of the ship are improved.
