The invention relates to an electric steering gear and a vehicle. The electric steering gear comprises a shell, an input shaft, a steering assembly, a sector shaft and a power assisting assembly, the input shaft penetrates through the shell and can rotate relative to the shell, the steering assembly comprises a steering screw connected with the input shaft and a steering nut arranged on the steering screw in a sleeving mode, and the steering nut can move in the axial direction of the steering screw when the steering screw rotates; the gear sector shaft is in transmission connection with the steering nut, the power assisting assembly comprises a power assisting screw and a motor, the power assisting screw is arranged at the end, away from the steering screw, of the steering nut in a penetrating mode, and the output end of the motor penetrates through the shell and is in transmission connection with the power assisting screw to drive the power assisting screw to rotate so as to drive the steering nut to move in the axial direction of the steering screw. According to the electric steering gear, torque output by the motor is used for driving the power assisting screw to rotate and driving the steering nut to move, power assisting is achieved, worm and gear transmission is not needed, the transmission efficiency is improved, and the electric steering gear can output larger torque.
