The invention belongs to the technical field of unmanned aerial vehicles, and particularly relates to an unmanned aerial vehicle high-definition image real-time transmission method for electric power inspection, which comprises the following steps of: 1, reading an electric power inspection video shot by an unmanned aerial vehicle; step 2, degrading the quality of the video frame and then coding the video frame; 3, converting the encoded output frame into a bit stream, and transmitting the encoded video stream to a cloud server by adopting 5G transmission; step 4, the cloud server decodes the video stream; and step 5, constructing a super-resolution reconstruction network, performing super-resolution reconstruction on the decoded degraded image, outputting recovered video frame blocks, and merging the recovered video frame blocks into a video frame to complete video recovery. And step 6, the cloud server carries out stream pushing on the recovered video to obtain an electric power inspection video stream. The transmission delay is reduced, and the transmission speed is improved.
