The invention relates to a vehicle mass estimation method and device, a medium, equipment and a vehicle. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring driving state data of the vehicle; the driving state data comprises a current gear command, a current road slope, a current acceleration, a current vehicle speed and a current driving torque of a motor; judging whether a mass estimation triggering condition is met or not based on the driving state data; continuing to obtain the road rolling resistance when judging that the mass estimation triggering condition is met; an estimated mass of the vehicle is determined based on the current vehicle speed, the current acceleration, the current road gradient, the road rolling resistance, and the current drive torque. Therefore, additional sensors are not needed, the space of a vehicle is not occupied, the input cost of the vehicle is not increased, and popularization and application are facilitated; meanwhile, mass estimation can be carried out in combination with the actual conditions of the vehicle and the road, the accuracy of mass estimation is high, and timely following of the vehicle speed is facilitated.
