According to the microsecond-level rapid overcurrent protection charging pile, mains supply firstly passes through an alternating-current semiconductor optomagnetic switch module and then enters a terminal electric vehicle through a charging pile circuit, the alternating-current semiconductor optomagnetic switch module is connected to a mains supply live wire in series, and the live wire current of the mains supply at the alternating-current end is monitored; when the current exceeds the preset current, the AC input power supply is cut off quickly; or the commercial power is firstly converted into direct current through the charging pile circuit and then enters the terminal electric vehicle through the direct-current semiconductor optomagnetic switch module, the direct-current semiconductor optomagnetic switch module is connected in series with a positive wire of the direct current, the direct-current positive current output by the charging pile circuit is monitored, and the direct-current output power supply is rapidly cut off when the current exceeds the preset current. The over-current protection/short-circuit protection circuit has the advantages that over-current protection/short-circuit protection can be quickly executed, and the turn-off speed reaches 10-50 us.
