The embodiment of the invention discloses a traffic signal identification method, a traffic signal indication device and a terminal, which are applied to the field of intelligent driving. According to the traffic signal indicating device provided by the embodiment of the invention, besides a visible light signal indicating system in an existing traffic light mode, the near-infrared light source is additionally arranged, and the vehicle-mounted terminal is based on the collected near-infrared light signal; and traffic operation information indicated by the traffic signal indicating device is determined. As the penetrating power of the near-infrared light signal is higher than that of the visible light signal, the recognition accuracy of the traffic signal can be improved.
本申请实施例公开了一种交通信号的识别方法、交通信号指示装置和终端，应用于智能驾驶领域。本申请实施例的交通信号指示装置在现有的红绿灯模式的可见光信号指示系统之外，新增了近红外光源，车载终端基于采集的近红外光信号；确定交通信号指示装置指示的交通运行信息。由于近红外光信号相较可见光信号的穿透力强，可以提升交通信号的识别准确率。
