The invention relates to a wheel rotation locking sensing reminding method and system based on a hub motor. The method comprises the steps that a controller obtains a brake pedal treading depth signal at the first moment in real time; the controller obtains the current actual wheel speed in real time based on the first moment treading depth signal; the controller obtains a brake pedal treading depth signal at a second moment in real time and records the brake pedal treading depth signal as a second moment treading depth signal; the controller obtains the wheel speed at the second moment; a current actual wheel speed change rate is calculated; a current real-time wheel speed change threshold value is obtained; and whether the current actual wheel speed change rate is larger than the current real-time wheel speed change threshold value or not is judged, and if so, a wheel locking alert is generated. Compared with the prior art, the cost is reduced, the overall reliability of the ABS system is improved, meanwhile, the change relation of the maximum wheel speed change rate along with a brake pedal treading depth signal is considered, the method is suitable for more driving environment scenes, and the safety performance is greatly improved.
