The invention discloses a traffic prompting device and method and a computer readable storage medium. The traffic prompting device provided by the invention comprises a detection module which faces a vehicle coming direction and is suitable for receiving a vehicle signal of the vehicle coming direction, a prompting module which faces the other vehicle coming direction and is suitable for displaying prompt information towards the other vehicle coming direction, and a processor which is configured to respond to the vehicle signal of one vehicle coming direction and control the prompting module to display the prompt information towards the other vehicle coming direction. According to the traffic prompting device and method of the invention, driving vehicles and pedestrians can be reminded of driving-in of vehicles on the side at an intersection lacking traffic lights, so that unnecessary traffic accidents are reduced and even avoided.
