A folding type pipe exterior crawling device is of an annular three-section structure and comprises a main body section, a folding left section and a folding right section, the folding left section is hinged to one end of the main body section, and the folding right section is hinged to the other end of the main body section. Folding motors are respectively arranged at the hinged part of the folding left section and the main body section and the hinged part of the folding right section and the main body section; a driving wheel driven by a driving motor and a turning wheel driven by a turning motor are arranged on the inner side of the main body section; and the driving wheel and the turning wheel are made of permanent magnet materials and are adsorbed on the outer side of the pipeline. An annular three-section type foldable structure is adopted, the function of effectively avoiding obstacles on the pipeline can be achieved, and meanwhile, the robot can be provided with various cleaning devices, detection devices and monitoring devices to achieve the functions of cleaning, detecting and monitoring the outer wall of the pipeline.
一种折叠式管外爬行装置，为环形三段式结构，包括主体段、折叠左段、折叠右段，所述折叠左段与主体段的一端铰接，所述折叠右段与主体段的另一端铰接，所述折叠左段与主体段的铰接处以及折叠右段与主体段的铰接处分别设置有折叠电机；所述主体段内侧设置有通过驱动电机驱动的驱动轮，还设置有通过变向电机驱动的变向轮；所述驱动轮、变向轮均为永磁材料，吸附在管道外侧。本发明通过采用环形三段式的可翻折结构，能够实现其在管道上有效避障功能，同时本发明可装备各种清洁装置、检测装置、监视装置来实现对管道外壁的清理、检测、监护功能。
