The invention relates to a vehicle and a vehicle cabin area controller. The vehicle comprises a vehicle body, and further comprises a camera set which comprises at least one first camera installed outside a vehicle cabin and/or at least one camera installed in the vehicle cabin; the vehicle cabin area controller comprises a video processing chip and a micro-control unit which are connected with each other; the video processing chip is further connected with the camera group and is used for performing face recognition according to the video stream from the at least one first camera to generatea vehicle door control instruction corresponding to a face recognition result, and/or performing video analysis according to the video stream from the at least one camera mounted in the vehicle cabinto generate a vehicle door control instruction corresponding to the face recognition result; generating an in-cabin control instruction, and sending the vehicle door control instruction and/or the in-cabin control instruction to the micro-control unit; and the micro-control unit is in control connection with the vehicle main body and is used for controlling the vehicle main body according to the vehicle door control instruction and/or the cabin control instruction.
