The invention discloses a charging bin and a converter station with the same. The charging bin is used for storing a replaced power battery of an electric vehicle and recovering energy for the power battery. The interior of the charging bin is provided with a charging goods shelf which is used for recovering the energy of the power battery; a battery turnover device; and a stacking machine which is suitable for transferring the power batteries between the battery turnover device and the charging goods shelf. The charging bin is provided with the charging goods shelf, the battery turnover device and the stacking machine; by means of the stacking machine, transferring of the power batteries between the charging goods shelf and the battery turnover device can be achieved, the battery turnoverdevice serves as a turnover station, the function of temporarily storing the power batteries can be achieved, and the battery replacing efficiency can be improved.
