    The invention discloses a three-dimensional McMaster method for detecting section traffic jam of an expressway. The influence of speed parameters on flow and occupancy is fully considered, the correlation among the flow, the speed and the occupancy is analyzed, and a Bayesian regularization BP neural network is utilized to expand the McMaster algorithm from a two-dimensional parameter space to a three-dimensional parameter space, so that the detection rate of the algorithm on traffic jam is improved.

    本发明公开了一种用于检测高速公路断面交通拥堵的三维McMaster方法，充分考虑了速度参数对流量和占有率的影响，分析流量、速度、占有率三者之间的相关关系，利用贝叶斯正则化BP神经网络将McMaster算法从二维参数空间拓展到三维参数空间，从而提高算法对交通拥堵的检测率。
