The invention discloses a rail-free hydraulic lift platform and a lifting method. Three hydraulic cylinders in parallel connection are driven by a hydraulic pumping station to move synchronously, so as to achieve the lifting of the lift platform, when the lift platform reaches to a preset floor, a pedal component is pushed out by an upper electric drive pusher, then the pedal component enables a pedal to rise upward through a pedal lifting mechanism to be flushed with the surface of a load platform of the lift platform, the lift platform and an outer swing door between floors are opened to form a pedal guardrail, and when an annular door is opened, personnel can walk up the stairs through the pedal component; by adjusting an unbalance loading device, unbalance loading is eliminated, and the balanced center of gravity is achieved, so that platform unbalance loading is eliminated. The entire system has a simple structure, is safe and reliable, and is convenient to maintain, and the rail-free hydraulic lift platform is arranged in a spiral stair, so as to be convenient for the delivery of people stream and cargo in related occasions, and is wide in practicability; and the lifting method is simple and easy to operate, effectively solves the problem of unbalance loading caused by that the pedal of the hydraulic lift platform extends out and personnel is unevenly distributed in the lift platform, therefore, the hydraulic lift platform is enabled to run more stably and reliably.
