The invention provides an oil tank protection device of a transport vehicle. The oil tank protection device is characterized by comprising an oil tank protection groove (2) with the appearance correspondingly matched with the appearance of a vehicle oil tank (1), and therefore the vehicle oil tank (1) can be placed in the oil tank protection groove (2); a set of installation plates (3) connected with a frame are arranged on the oil tank protection groove (2). The oil tank protection device is simple in structure and convenient to use, a layer of protection is added to the outer wall of the oil tank through the mode that the vehicle oil tank is arranged in the groove, and damage and threats of cartridge and ground explosives to the oil tank are effectively blocked or reduced.
