The invention provides a road operation radar early warning protection system. The system comprises a radar detection module and a master control module. The radar detection module is arranged at a detection point and used for actively emitting an electromagnetic wave detection signal, calculating the distance and azimuth information, in the electromagnetic wave detection signal emission direction, of a moving object according to an electromagnetic wave detection signal which is fed back and calculating the moving speed of the moving object according to the difference of at least two groups of distances of the same moving object within unit time. The master control module is used for collecting the distance, orientation and moving speed, acquired by the radar detection module, of the moving object and sending the information of the moving object to terminal equipment carried by related personnel through a wireless network when early warning conditions are met so that the terminal equipment can send warning information. The system can provide early warning information for related personnel about a vehicle moving at high speed so as to reduce casualty accidents.
