The present invention provides a method and system for guiding vehicles driving in a wrong way on a passenger car and truck separating highway. The method and system for guiding vehicles driving in the wrong way on the passenger car and truck separating highway are configured to determine whether there are provided vehicles driving in the wrong way on the passenger car and truck separating highway. If there is provided a vehicle driving in the wrong way, the vehicle driving in the wrong way may be guided to drive into a ramp, and it is detected whether there is provided a vehicle driving on an outermost driveway in the preset range of the ramp exit. If there is provided a vehicle driving on the outermost driveway, the vehicle driving in the wrong way may be guided to park at a first preset position in the ramp for waiting, and at the same time the vehicle driving on the outermost driveway may be guided to another driveway, then the vehicle driving in the wrong way may be guided to drive on a correct driveway through the ramp exit after the vehicle driving on the outermost driveway is changed to another driveway; and if there is not provided a vehicle driving on the outermost driveway, the vehicle driving in the wrong way may be guided to drive in a correct driveway through the ramp exit. The method and system for guiding vehicles driving in wrong way on passenger car and truck separating highway are applicable to the guidance of vehicles driving in a wrong way to return back to a correct driveway through an accommodation overpass bridge, the guidance of the vehicles driving in a wrong way to park in the first preset position in the ramp, and the guidance of vehicles driving on the outermost driveway to change ways, so that the vehicles driving in the wrong way may safely return back to the correct accommodation lane through the accommodation overpass bridge and cannot influence other vehicles driving in the lane.
