Abstract

The invention discloses a license plate with the license plate copying prevention function and a monitoring system and method of the license plate. The license plate comprises a common license plate number and further comprises a pattern code used for being identified by a computer. The pattern code is a two-dimensional code converted from an ID code, a traffic management department issues one corresponding given ID code to each license plate number, and each ID code is provided with an independent password. When the license plate is issued by the traffic management department, the unique ID code is distributed randomly and stored in a normally-authorized database. When the license plate is supervised by electronic monitoring equipment, the license plate number and the surrounding ID code are identified through the system, and when the license plate number is not matched with the ID code or the license plate number and the surrounding ID code cannot be identified, a vehicle with the license plate is judged to be a license plate copying vehicle, and arresting activity is then started. By the adoption of the system, monitoring and management work of the traffic management department is convenient.
